Supreme Court filing fees likely to increase substantially

The Victorian Supreme Court is undertaking a preliminary consultative process regarding major changes to the filing fees which are to be introduced in October 2018. Major changes include the introduction of new category of payers (corporate, standard and concessional) and that clients will have to pay filing fees when issuing a Summons for Taxation in a costs dispute. The recommended fees will increase substantially and hearing fees will now apply in all mediations and taxations.
